The fabulous singer and dancer Nicole Scherzinger is coming back on our TV screens with a big bang. The former X Factor judge moved on to the game Bring the Noise. Now she's got a new project up her sleeve. She's going to play Penny in the TV series of the famous movie Dirty Dancing.
All the best to Nicole and the other cast members and hopefully this ends up being a success.
The singer told her fans on Twitter that something new was coming up.
Back in December 2015 the US network announced the remake, naming Little Miss Sunshine's Abigail in the lead role of Baby Houseman.
In Dirty Dancing Penny falls pregnant in the film and wants to go for an illegal abortion, forcing Baby to step in and dance with Johnny Prattes, who was originally played by Patrick Swayze.
Do you think there will be more steamy scenes? More complex dance moves? What do you think?
Now there have been some confirmation with other cast members. Scream Queens actress Abigail Breslin will be playing Baby Houseman and then Mysteries of Laura actress Debra Messing will be playing Marjorie Houseman.
