This summer Gucci will show its cruise 2017 collection in the Cloisters of Westminster Abbey. This venue is also famous as this is the church that Kate Middleton and Prince William got married at in 2011. It's said to be a very big deal and big moment for the brand, the fashion world, and the general public, as the venue has not been used for this sort of event.
This collection, is apparently meant to provide well-heeled clients with a vacation-ready wardrobe they could wear for winter travels to sunny shores, typically provides designers more creative freedom with location and venue.
Furthermore, Gucci picked New York City's Dia Art Foundation this past summer, while Louis Vuitton took over a legendary California estate last May.
